Job summary

Jumeirah is seeking a skilled kitchen supervisor for our luxury properties in the UAE. You will oversee kitchen sections, ensure high standards, control waste, and coach team members to uphold safety and SOPs.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma, 6 months Culinary Arts training, HACCP certification, and 3–5 years in a luxury hospitality role. We offer competitive pay in a tax-free environment and comprehensive benefits.

About the Job

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing efficient, friendly, and attentive service that exceeds expectations.
• Oversee and actively participate in delivering excellent service to guests, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
• Supervise kitchen section(s) to ensure tasks are completed according to standards, including stock management, portion control, food quality, and cleanliness.
• Implement measures to minimize waste and control operating costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Evaluate food products for consistency and quality, maintaining high standards in food preparation.
• Monitor team members grooming, hygiene, and compliance with safety regulations and SOPs, providing coaching and guidance as needed.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Culinary Arts training from a reputable establishment – minimum 6 months
• Previous HACCP training
• 3–5 years of experience in the same role within a luxury hospitality or high-end restaurant
