Job summary

Meraki Group in the UAE seeks a Junior Facade Engineer to assist senior engineers in developing facade design solutions that meet aesthetic, functional, and sustainability requirements.

You will support in design, drawings, material research, site visits, and documentation, collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to drive project delivery in a fast-paced contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of facade design experience (internships included).
• Familiarity with facade materials, systems, and current design trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of facade systems, including glazing, cladding, and curtain walls.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Support the senior team members in conducting material research and sourcing suitable products for facade applications.
• Participate in site visits to observe installation processes and provide technical support as needed.
• Contribute to the preparation of design reports, calculations, and documentation for project submissions.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to facilitate project delivery and address challenges.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to enhance the design process.
