Job summary

Dusit Thani Dubai is seeking a Commis Chef to learn a wide range of kitchen skills and apply them in daily tasks across the kitchen. You will perform basic food preparation, cook and plate dishes to meet high quality and presentation standards, assist senior chefs, maintain cleanliness, and uphold hygiene.

You must be a quick learner, able to work under pressure, communicate in English, and be a team player capable of following orders and contributing to the smooth operation of the dining

Qualifications

• Minimum education of high vocational diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in cooking and food presentation.
• Basic English communication; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply kitchen skills across sections.
• Assist chefs in preparing appetizers and entrees.
• Refill buffet and maintain attractive presentation.
• Monitor temperatures and cook simple hot foods.
• Keep the work area clean and hygienic.
• Report incidents and support team during service.
