Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Junior Buyer to join our growing team. As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for assisting the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing goods and services for our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying the procurement needs of our clients and developing procurement plans.
- Source and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value for our clients.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with the procurement team to maintain accurate records and documentation of all purchases.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products that meet our clients' needs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Participate in supplier performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve supplier relationships.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, negotiating, and contract management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement laws and regulations is a plus.
