Black Pearl in Dubai is seeking a motivated Audit Assistant to support our audit team in conducting financial audits and ensuring client records comply with UAE accounting standards.

You will assist with planning, document review, and basic testing, prepare working papers, and communicate with clients to gather documents, while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. This role offers learning opportunities within the UAE regulatory framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist auditors with planning and conducting financial audits.
• Review financial statements, invoices, receipts, bank statements, and other supporting documents.
• Perform basic audit testing and verify financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing audit working papers, schedules, and reports.
• Identify discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions and report them to the senior auditor.
• Communicate with clients to request and verify required documents and information.
• Maintain proper documentation of audit procedures and findings.
• Assist with account reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Ensure audit work is completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Follow company policies, professional standards, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Provide general support to the audit team as required.
