Job summary

Black Pearl Consult seeks a motivated Audit Assistant to support the audit team in conducting financial audits and ensuring client records and financial statements are accurate and compliant with applicable standards and UAE regulations. Key responsibilities include assisting in audits, reviewing supporting documents, preparing working papers and reports, and communicating with clients.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and strong MS Excel skills, with attention to detail and teamwork

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
12 years of auditing or accounting experience preferred.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist auditors with planning and conducting financial audits.
Review financial statements, invoices, receipts, bank statements, and other documents.
Perform basic audit testing and verify financial transactions.
Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and reports.
Identify discrepancies and report to senior auditor.
Communicate with clients to request documents and information.
Maintain documentation of audit procedures and findings.
Assist with account reconciliations and financial analysis.
Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
Follow UAE regulations and company policies.
Provide general support to the audit team.
