Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with a strong background in auditing, preferably from Big 4 firms. You will manage financial records, support financial reporting, perform reconciliations, and assist in audits, while maintaining documentation and compliance.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; ACCA, CPA, or CA are a plus, UAE experience preferred, and minimum 1 year of accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA, CPA or CA are an advantage.
• Experience working in the UAE is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as an Accountant.
• Minimum 3 years of auditing experience in Big 4 audit firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial reconciliations and audit support.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company transactions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required
