Confidential Company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 1–2 years of UAE accounting experience. The role involves recording daily financial transactions, processing invoices, and maintaining accounts payable and receivable with timely follow-up on outstanding payments.

Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, VAT return preparation, document verification, inventory accounting, and support during audits.

Qualifications

1–2 years UAE accounting experience or equivalent.
Detail-oriented with responsible approach to tasks.

Responsabilités

Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
Prepare and process supplier invoices, customer invoices, payment vouchers and receipt vouchers.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and verify cash transactions.
Assist in preparing VAT returns and maintain supporting documents in compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and related documents.
Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Stores and Logistics for accounting matters.
Assist in inventory accounting, stock valuation and material cost verification.
Maintain filing and documentation of invoices, receipts, payments and other records.
Assist with monthly closing, expense reports and preparation of financial statements.
Support Finance Manager during audits.
Ensure accounting entries are accurate and completed within timelines.
