Job summary

Buro Happold in Dubai is seeking a Junior Accountant – FP&A and Finance to join our UAE finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance, gaining exposure across FP&A, accounting operations, and financial controls.

This UAE Nationals (Emirati) role targets a fresh graduate or up to two years in finance, offering hybrid work, development opportunities, and a chance to contribute to strategic financial planning within our iconic

Qualifications

• UAE National (Emirati) with Family Book.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics 365 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Support monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
• Analyse actual performance vs budget/forecast and highlight trends.
• Prepare financial models and reports for business decisions.
• Maintain dashboards and KPIs; support month-end close and reconciliations.
• Support VAT compliance and internal/external audits.
