Job summary

Bu Haleeba Contracting LLC in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support accounts payable, record transactions, and maintain accurate financial records. The role focuses on vendor invoicing, expense processing, and ensuring timely payments in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, 1–3 years UAE experience, and solid familiarity with accounting software and month-end close processes. UAE VAT knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, and supplier reconciliation.
• Knowledge of accounting software, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Experience handling petty cash, employee expense claims, and payment schedules.
• Ability to match purchase orders with supplier invoices and supporting documents.
• Familiarity with month-end closing, cost accruals, and audit documentation.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
