Job summary

Safari Decor L.L.C. is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead joinery, painting and wood-finishing operations. You will guide a team of painters, polishers, sanding workers and helpers, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet approved samples and client standards.

You will inspect surfaces for defects, enforce proper preparation, and coordinate with the Factory Supervisor and Quality Control to resolve issues and prevent rework. Safety and compliance are essential in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising joinery, painting and wood-finishing operations.
• Knowledge of wood paints, stains, primers, varnishes, lacquers, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to inspect finishing quality and identify painting defects.
• Good team management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and chemical handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and supervise the daily work of painters, polishers, sanding workers and helpers.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, workmanship and compliance with tasks.
• Ensure finishes comply with samples, color codes, gloss levels and client requirements.

Allocate and supervise the daily work of painters polishers sanding workers and helpers Monitor attendance productivity workmanship andcompliance with assigned tasks Ensure efficient manpower utilization based onproduction priorities and delivery schedules Provide practical guidance to workers regardingfinishing techniques surface preparation and qualityrequirements Report manpower shortages performance issues andtraining requirements to the Factory Supervisor nsure that all finishes comply with approved samples color codes gloss levels drawings specifications and client requirements Inspect surfaces for scratches dents uneven colors paint runs bubbles dust contamination peeling andother finishing defects Ensure proper surface preparation and applicationtechniques to achieve a consistent high-qualityfinish Coordinate with the Factory Supervisor and QualityControl team to resolve finishing issues and obtainthe required approvals Identify defective work arrange necessarycorrections and minimize rework before finalinspection Ensure that completed items are properly protectedagainst scratches damage and contamination during handling and storage
