Job summary

Job description

We are looking for a strong reliable and motivated Carpentry Painter Spray Painter strong to assist with painting and finishing of wooden and carpentry items The ideal candidate should be physically fit detail-oriented willing to learn and able to follow instructions from the supervisor or senior painter strong

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of wooden surfaces for painting and finishing
• Sand clean fill and smooth surfaces before painting
• Assist with strong spray painting polishing staining and finishing strong of carpentry works
• Mix and prepare paints primers thinners and other finishing materials as instructed
• Operate and maintain basic spray-painting equipment and hand tools
• Assist in masking and protecting surfaces that should not be painted
• Check finished surfaces for defects uneven coating runs or imperfections
• Maintain cleanliness of the painting area tools and equipment
• Load unload and move materials and finished items safely
• Follow safety procedures when handling paints chemicals and equipment
• Assist senior painters carpenters with daily finishing activities
• Follow instructions and complete assigned work on time
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and experience

• Previous experience in carpentry painting, spray painting, furniture painting, or wood finishing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of sanding, surface preparation, priming, and painting is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of spray guns and painting tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work with paints, thinners, and finishing materials safely.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Physically fit and able to handle materials and equipment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Relevant experience in kitchen cabinets, furniture, or wooden products is an added advantage.
