Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in Dubai seeks a maintenance painter to prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings to plant equipment, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

You will perform routine maintenance painting, operate blasting and painting equipment, and assist internal customers while adhering to safety rules and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational certificate in industrial painting is required.
• Must read and understand written English and paint specifications.
• Minimum experience in maintenance painting is expected.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned maintenance painting jobs to required standards.
• Independently carries out minor painting jobs and planned activities.
• Operates blasting and painting equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Maintains safe working practices per company rules.
• Coaches trainees and supports shop safety and housekeeping.

Job description

To perform a range of maintenance activities related to surface preparation and paint all equipment materials in the plant with high standards of quality and safety

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Completes assigned maintenance painting jobs with required standards
• Independently carries out minor painting jobs and planned maintenance painting activities as required
• Carries out effective maintenance tasks on various maintenance equipment as per the operating procedures
• Operates blasting and painting equipment for the maintenance painting jobs
• Acts as a team player and make suggestions to improve shop services for internal customers
• Follows the safe working practices based on company s safety rules and regulations to protect personnel plant and equipment
• Maintains good housekeeping in the assigned work area and keep equipment and tools in clean tidy and safe conditions
• Coaches and guides National Trainees TPRF personnel doing routine jobs in the shop

Minimum Qualifications:High school graduate or vocational graduate in the industrial painting.

Minimum Experience:Minimum years' experience in Maintenance.Good basic knowledge in all painting equipment and knowledge.Must process a working knowledge of written and spoken English.

• Know how to read technical specifications for different paints.
