Position Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Radiographic Testing (RT) Technicians - Job Performers to support major Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical experience in radiographic testing, a thorough understanding of safety procedures, and a commitment to delivering high-quality inspection services while maintaining full compliance with industry and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) activities in accordance with approved procedures and ASNT RT Level II requirements.
- Execute inspection activities safely and efficiently in compliance with Work Management System (WMS) requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures and site safety regulations.
- Select and utilize appropriate radiographic testing equipment, accessories, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Prepare and maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, HSE personnel, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of inspection activities.
- Comply with applicable industry standards, client specifications, and quality requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
Qualification Requirements
Education & Experience
Candidates should meet one of the following criteria:
- Engineering Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant RT experience, OR
- Diploma Holder (Non-Engineering) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant RT experience, OR
- Other educational backgrounds with 6-8 years of relevant RT experience (subject to approval).
Mandatory Certifications
- ASNT RT Level II Certification
- WMS Full Package Certification (mandatory for ADNOC projects)
Required Skills & Competencies
Radiographic Testing Expertise
- Proficient in radiographic testing methodologies, equipment operation, and inspection techniques.
- Ability to perform inspections in accordance with approved procedures and applicable standards.
Safety Compliance
- Strong understanding of radiation safety practices, WMS requirements, and PTW procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ability to prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed inspection records.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Communication Skills
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, HSE personnel, and operations teams.
- Capable of understanding technical instructions, procedures, and project documentation.
