Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights seeks a capable Sous Chef to support the Chef de Cuisine in running a luxury hotel kitchen. You will help manage assigned kitchen operations as a profitable center, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes planning, organizing, directing, and controlling kitchen activities with a focus on Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, hygiene, and safety. Experience in luxury brands is preferred, alongside strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years work experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
• Knowledge and experience in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
• Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
• Italian language skills will be an added advantage.
