Job summary

STAR SERVICES LLC is seeking an IT Support professional to ensure employees can work with minimal IT disruptions. You will resolve daily IT issues, set up new devices, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and support tools like email and printers.

You will also generate IT status reports, create user guides, and document IT procedures. The role requires a Bachelor's in a computer-related field and proficiency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, MIS or a related field.
• ITIL certification is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and effective technical assistance to employees within the Company and its premises.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of new devices, including computers, mobile devices, and peripherals and support tech tools such as email systems, printers, and collaboration software.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance tasks and ensure all IT equipment is in optimal working condition.
• Receive and prioritize support requests and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or external support when necessary.
• Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution and proper documentation.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for IT procedures and systems in line with best practices.
• Create user guides and how-to manuals to assist employees in using IT equipment/systems/platforms.
• Generate regular reports on the status and performance of current IT systems/equipment/tools based on incidents, feedback, and assessments.
• Implement new IT recommendations and enhancements to improve functionality and business continuity.
• Keep abreast with the latest IT solutions that could be leveraged within Museum operations.
• Document, update and maintain accurate records of IT related procedures, processes, user guides, assets, and configurations.
• Implement and maintain all IT-owned applications, ensuring they are up to date.
• Manage vendor relationships for application support, procurement, and software licenses to ensure cost efficiency.
• Engineer and maintain IT infrastructure and coordinate IT projects.
• Manage user data across applications and mitigate security risks at user and application levels.
• Create automated workflows to reduce IT workload.
