Job description

The IT Projects Coordinator will manage and support the delivery of multiple IT projects across various business units within the Ghobash Group. The role focuses on tracking and reporting on system implementations upgrades data migrations and process automation across the Group ensuring seamless collaboration between internal departments and external stakeholders. The coordinator will apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to optimize project timelines manage risks and enhance operational efficiencies.

IT Project Management and Delivery

  • Oversee the planning execution and closure of IT projects ensuring alignment with the Groups strategic IT objectives.
  • Develop project charters timelines resource allocation plans and risk management strategies for each assigned project.
  • Lead the execution of systems integration digital transformation and data migration initiatives ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Coordinate system upgrades ensuring successful delivery and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the delivery of automation projects to enhance operational efficiency across various Group subsidiaries.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with business unit leaders IT teams and external vendors to align project objectives with business needs.
  • Regular project updates reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular IT stakeholder meetings to review project status and adjust plans as necessary.

Risk Management

  • Conduct detailed risk assessments for each project identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project risks and escalate critical issues to management when necessary to avoid project delays or budget overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and data governance across all project phases.

Agile and Waterfall Methodologies

  • Implement hybrid project management methodologies utilizing both Agile and Waterfall frameworks based on project requirements.
  • Lead the follow ups and tracking of project delivery and other IT process enhancements.

Reporting and Dashboard Management

  • Create and maintain detailed project reports dashboards and executive summaries to provide real-time insights into project status and performance.
  • Use Power BI Tableau or Excel to build visualizations that communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Track project progress using tools like Jira Trello or Confluence to ensure transparency and accountability.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
