Job summary

Al Safadi Hospitality is seeking a hands-on IT Operations Specialist to support ERP and POS systems across multiple locations, ensuring business continuity and robust IT infrastructure.

The role covers network, security, and cloud services, with routine maintenance, incident resolution, and go-live support for new sites. UAE driving license and CCNA are required; experience in retail/hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on IT experience in retail/hospitality
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT/CS
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Hands-on experience with POS systems (Squirrel POS or LS Retail)
• Strong networking, FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, IT security
• CCNA certification required; CCNP/Fortinet/Microsoft certs are a plus
• Valid UAE driving license

Responsibilities

• Support Dynamics 365 BC, Squirrel POS, and LS Retail incl. user access, configurations, troubleshooting, transactions, and end-of-day operations
• Support Smart Attendance, Sky Bayan HR, CrunchTime, and Convox call center systems
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and FortiGate firewalls
• Manage Microsoft 365, email accounts, user permissions, antivirus, backups, and system updates
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, CCTV, POS terminals, and other IT equipment across multiple locations
• Coordinate with software and IT service providers to resolve ERP/POS integration problems
• Coordinate IT infrastructure, POS installations, testing, and go-live support for new locations
• Maintain IT asset records, technical documentation, and provide system training to employees
• Ensure system availability, minimize downtime, and provide urgent technical support outside regular working hours

The ideal candidate should have experience in ERP and POS systems, IT infrastructure, networking, and security, with the ability to independently manage daily IT operations, resolve critical issues, and ensure business continuity across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Squirrel POS, and LS Retail, including user access, configurations, troubleshooting, transactions, and end-of-day operations.
• Support Smart Attendance, Sky Bayan HR, CrunchTime, and Convox call center systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in retail, supermarkets, restaurant chains, or multi-branch operations.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Hands-on experience with POS systems; Squirrel POS or LS Retail preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking, FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, Microsoft 365, and IT security.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP, Fortinet, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
