Kats Recruitment is seeking an IT Manager to lead ERP strategy, networking infrastructure, and server management for high-demand operations in Abu Dhabi. The role emphasizes Microsoft Dynamics AX, ERP administration, and strong leadership of an IT team to ensure robust, secure operations across on-site infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 15–20 years of IT/ERP leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP implementation and support.
• Strong networking and server management expertise.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.

Job description

Role Overview

The IT Manager will lead the strategic planning implementation and maintenance of ERP solutions networking infrastructure and server management for the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi. This role requires exceptional leadership and a proven track record particularly with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics AX to ensure robust and efficient IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning implementation and maintenance of the companys ERP system with a primary emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Direct and mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for ERP administration troubleshooting and end-user support.
• Oversee the design deployment and optimization of the companys networking infrastructure to ensure maximum performance reliability and security.
• Manage all aspects of server administration including hardware provisioning virtualization disaster recovery planning and capacity management.
• Collaborate closely with departmental stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective ERP system enhancements and optimizations.
• Develop and enforce IT policies procedures and documentation related to ERP networking and server management ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies industry trends and best practices in ERP systems networking technologies and server administration.
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on IT initiatives budgeting resource allocation and risk management.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science IT or a related field.
• 15 to 20 years of similar experience.
• Demonstrated management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP software including implementation customization and ongoing support.
• Thorough understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs VPNs etc.).
• Proficiency in server administration including Windows Server Linux virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows software including server office and exchange.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Masters degree.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE CCNA ITIL or PMP.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
