Sobha Furniture Industries in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced IT Application Engineer with deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance expertise to streamline financial processes and support ERP solutions in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, process mapping, configuration, testing, go-live support, and user training, with collaboration across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.

IT Application Engineer – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

Role Purpose

Sobha Furniture Industries is looking for an experienced ERP IT Application Engineer with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance functional expertise.

The role will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations and IT teams to understand business requirements, improve processes, support D365 F&O and deliver effective ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from Finance and other business stakeholders.
• Document As-Is and To-Be processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Configure, support and troubleshoot D365 F&O Finance functionality.
• Support GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Financial Dimensions, VAT, Period Closing and Cost Accounting.
• Understand integration between Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse and Production.
• Support ERP implementation, enhancements, testing, UAT, go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, SOPs and user guides.
• Coordinate with D365 F&O implementation partners and technical teams.
• Provide user training and functional support.
• Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes, controls and system efficiency.

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Strong functional experience in D365 Finance.
• Good understanding of SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Production.
• Experience in ERP implementation, enhancement or support projects.
• Strong As-Is / To-Be process mapping and business analysis skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably furniture, joinery, cabinetry or similar industries.
• Experience with Production Costing, Inventory Valuation and Manufacturing Finance.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT.
• D365 F&O Finance certification is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP integrations and Power BI is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
