Job summary

techcarrot is seeking an experienced ERP IT Application Engineer with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance functional expertise to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will bridge business requirements, finance processes and IT solutions, collaborating with IT Applications Manager and stakeholders to deliver effective ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Strong functional experience in D365 Finance.
• Good understanding of SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Production.
• Experience in ERP implementation, enhancement or support projects.
• Strong As-Is / To-Be process mapping and business analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from Finance and other business stakeholders.
• Document As-Is and To-Be processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Configure, support and troubleshoot D365 F&O Finance functionality.
• Support GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Financial Dimensions, VAT, Period Closing and Cost Accounting.
• Understand integration between Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse and Production.
• Support ERP implementation, enhancements, testing, UAT, go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, SOPs and user guides.
• Coordinate with D365 F&O implementation partners and technical teams.
• Provide user training and functional support.
• Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes, controls and system efficiency.

We are looking for an experienced ERP IT Application Engineer with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance functional expertise.

The role will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations and IT teams to understand business requirements, improve processes, support D365 F&O and deliver effective ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment. Hands-on D365 F&O Finance functional professional who can effectively bridge the gap between business requirements, Finance processes, and IT solutions, while working closely with the IT Applications Manager and business stakeholders.

• Strong functional experience in D365 Finance.
• Good understanding of SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Production.
• Experience in ERP implementation, enhancement or support projects.

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably furniture, joinery, cabinetry or similar industries.
• Experience with Production Costing, Inventory Valuation and Manufacturing Finance.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT.
• D365 F&O Finance certification is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP integrations and Power BI is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
