Role Description

This is a freelance part time on-site/ WFH role for an ISO 50001 Energy Management Consultant based in UAE.

Scope of Work

1 – Documentation Review & Gap Closure - we already have some documents

• Review the existing ISO 50001 Manual, SOPs, and forms.
• Address certification body comments and identified gaps.
• Amend documentation to ensure alignment with ISO 50001 requirements
• Provide guidance to the company and existing consultant for implementation.

Site Visit 1: Operational Understanding

• Visit site to understand company energy operations, baseline, and context.
• Assess SEUs and establish monitoring and measurement methodology (KPIs, energy performance indicators – EnPIs).
• Engage with Team to clarify roles, responsibilities, and resources.
• Conduct awareness training sessions for Energy Management Team

2 – System Strengthening & Awareness

• Collaborate with the company and consultant to integrate amendments into daily operations.
• Develop action plan for ongoing monitoring, measurement, and continual improvement.

Site Visit 2: Implementation & Internal Audit

• Assess level of implementation of EnMS.
• Conduct a formal Internal Audit against ISO 50001:2018 requirements.
• Conduct management review meeting
