Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, a key player behind Azizi Developments, seeks an experienced Irrigation Engineer to lead irrigation works for towers, parks, and large-scale landscapes in Dubai. The role requires a civil/irrigation/landscape degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong coordination across multiple teams.

You will oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting, ensuring quality and adherence to HSE standards on site. UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Agricultural, Irrigation or Landscape Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in irrigation engineering and landscape construction.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ability to review irrigation shop drawings, hydraulic calculations and material specifications.
• Strong coordination with Landscape, MEP, Civil and subcontractor teams.
• Familiarity with construction quality standards, site practices and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage irrigation works for towers, podiums, parks, and large-scale landscape projects.
• Review and coordinate irrigation shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, material specifications, and related technical documents.
• Coordinate with Landscape, MEP, Civil, Project, and Subcontractor teams to ensure smooth execution of irrigation works.
• Supervise the installation of irrigation systems in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor and coordinate irrigation testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Inspect completed works and ensure compliance with approved standards and quality requirements.
• Monitor site progress and coordinate irrigation activities in line with project schedules.
• Ensure required irrigation materials, equipment, and resources are available as per project requirements.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Liaise with subcontractors and site teams to ensure proper execution and completion of irrigation works.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, testing, commissioning, and other relevant project documentation.
• Ensure all irrigation works are carried out in compliance with applicable HSE requirements and project standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of relevant experience in irrigation engineering and landscape construction.
• Strong hands-on experience in irrigation works for towers, podiums, parks, and large-scale landscape projects.
• Previous experience in towers and podium parks is highly preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to review irrigation shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material specifications.
• Strong coordination skills with Landscape, MEP, Civil, and subcontractor teams.
• Good knowledge of construction quality standards, site practices, and HSE requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
