Job summary

Goanna Capital Management, an ambitious technology investor, is hiring in Abu Dhabi to support the Head of Middle East. The role covers day-to-day operations, investor relations, and business development in a fast-growing regional office, with two clocks: Gulf hours and New York hours.

You will work alongside the founder and senior team in New York, building the Middle East platform from the ground up. Immediate relocation or base in Abu Dhabi or Dubai is expected, and the work is hands-on from

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience, ideally from a Big Four firm or similar background with exposure to accounting, audit, or operations.
• Must have the right to work in the UAE; this role does not include visa sponsorship.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, or able to relocate there immediately.
• Sharp, organised, and detail-oriented. Nothing falls through the cracks.
• Strong written and spoken English. You will be drafting emails and correspondence on behalf of senior leadership.
• Competitive by nature. You hold yourself to a high standard and follow through on everything.
• Genuine interest in technology investing and the GCC ecosystem.
• Arabic is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Abu Dhabi office running smoothly across admin, banking, compliance coordination, and corporate administration.
• Support accounting and financial reporting, working with external accountants and the New York team.
• Handle KYC documentation and ensure nothing is missed.
• Build and maintain target lists of sovereigns, family offices, and institutional investors across the GCC.
• Draft outreach emails and correspondence.
• Set up meetings and calls, manage follow-ups, and ensure conversations stay active.
• Prepare briefing notes and research ahead of investor meetings.
• Manage CRM and keep all active relationships tracked and moving.
• Support execution of regional events and help portfolio companies access the region.

Goanna Capital Management invests in the most ambitious technology companies shaping the future of AI, SaaS, cloud, and frontier innovation. Our portfolio includes category-defining leaders such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Ramp, Rippling, and Neuralink.

We are building our Middle East platform from the ground up, anchored in our Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) office. This is one of the founding hires on the ground.

THE ROLE

This role sits directly alongside the Head of Middle East, supporting the day-to-day running of the Abu Dhabi office across operations, investor relations, and business development. You will work closely with the firm's founder and senior team in New York and have real exposure to how a fast-growing global investment firm operates from the inside.

The person who succeeds here is not looking for a 9 to 5. The day runs on two clocks, Gulf hours with the local market and New York hours with the rest of the firm, and the scope grows as fast as you can take it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Operations

• Keep the Abu Dhabi office running smoothly across admin, banking, compliance coordination, and corporate administration
