Job summary

Harjai Technologies in Dubai is seeking a Data Centre Investment Manager to lead investment activities for data centre projects. You will identify opportunities, evaluate, structure, and execute investments, and develop partnerships with developers, operators, investors, and lenders.

Responsibilities include detailed financial modelling, due diligence across commercial and technical aspects, preparing investment proposals, and tracking portfolio performance while maximising asset value.

• Monitor market trends, data centre demand, and investment opportunities in the UAE and GCC.
• Identify potential joint ventures, acquisitions, and partnerships to expand the portfolio.
• Track portfolio performance, investment returns, milestones, and risks, advising on value-maximising strategies.

We are seeking for a Data Centre Investment Manager position.

Job location : Dubai

Job Role :

• Lead investment activities for data centre projects in Dubai, covering opportunity identification, evaluation, structuring, and execution of investments.

• Conduct detailed financial modelling, feasibility studies, valuation, and investment return analysis for data centre assets and development opportunities.

• Evaluate investment opportunities based on market demand, capacity, location, power availability, infrastructure, construction costs, and long-term revenue potential.

• Develop and maintain relationships with data centre developers, operators, investors, lenders, consultants, and other key stakeholders.

• Support due diligence across commercial, financial, technical, legal, regulatory, and operational aspects of potential investments.

• Prepare investment proposals, business cases, board presentations, and investment committee materials with clear recommendations and risk assessments.

• Monitor market trends, data centre demand, hyperscaler requirements, colocation opportunities, power infrastructure, and emerging investment trends across the UAE and wider GCC.

• Identify potential joint ventures, acquisitions, partnerships, and development opportunities to expand the company’s data centre investment portfolio.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors throughout transaction structuring, negotiations, documentation, financial close, and post-investment activities.

• Track portfolio performance, investment returns, project milestones, and key risks while recommending strategies to maximise asset value and long-term investment returns.
