Caliberly is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to lead evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities across diverse sectors from Dubai, UAE. The role involves financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio oversight within a family office or investment environment.

The successful candidate will drive strategies, manage investor relations, and collaborate with legal and advisory partners to optimize returns and create shareholder value across multiple industries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA, CFA, CAIA or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
  • 7–12 years of experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, family office, or investment banking.
  • Strong experience in financial modeling, business valuation, M&A transactions, and portfolio management.
  • Experience evaluating investments across sectors like infrastructure, mining, clean energy, healthcare, or technology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Develop investment strategies across multiple asset classes and sectors.
  • Monitor and manage portfolios to maximize long-term returns while mitigating risks.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and recommend rebalancing strategies.
  • Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis.
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective investments (commercial, operational, legal, financial).
  • Analyze business plans, financial statements, cash flow projections, and market trends.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and recommendations for senior management and investment committees.
  • Lead investment transactions from sourcing through execution and post-investment integration.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, tax, and external advisors during acquisitions, JV, and strategic investments.
  • Support negotiations, deal structuring, and transaction documentation.
  • Manage transaction timelines and ensure successful deal completion.
  • Monitor global economic conditions, industry trends, and investment markets.
  • Identify emerging sectors and opportunities aligned with the investment strategy.
  • Build relationships with banks, advisors, VC/PE firms, and strategic partners.
  • Attend conferences and events to source opportunities.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and work with management to improve shareholder value.
  • Track investment KPIs and prepare periodic performance reports.
  • Recommend strategic initiatives to enhance returns.
  • Assess investment risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure regulatory compliance.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Investment Manager to lead the evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities across diverse sectors. The role is responsible for conducting financial and commercial due diligence, managing investment portfolios, developing investment strategies, and supporting acquisitions, divestments, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in investment analysis, financial modeling, portfolio management, and stakeholder engagement within a family office, investment firm, private equity, or corporate investment environment. The company focuses on investments in sectors such as mining, clean energy, healthcare technology, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Develop investment strategies across multiple asset classes and sectors.
  • Monitor and manage investment portfolios to maximize long‑term returns while mitigating risks.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and recommend rebalancing strategies.
Financial Analysis & Due Diligence
  • Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis.
  • Conduct commercial, operational, legal, and financial due diligence on prospective investments.
  • Analyze business plans, financial statements, cash flow projections, and market trends.

Transaction Execution

  • Recommend strategic initiatives to enhance investment returns.
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Assess investment risks and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure investments comply with regulatory requirements, governance standards, and internal investment policies.
  • Monitor market, financial, operational, and geopolitical risks affecting portfolio performance.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements where applicable.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
  • Prepare investment presentations, board reports, and executive summaries.
  • Present investment recommendations and portfolio performance to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, operations, and external stakeholders on investment initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with investors, advisors, and strategic partners.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • MBA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
  • 7–12 years of experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, family office, or investment banking.
  • Strong experience in financial modeling, business valuation, M&A transactions, and portfolio management.
