Job summary

Inception42 seeks a Senior Manager - Investment AI Platform to translate investment practice into product requirements within the (in)Alpha team. You’ll own modules from screening to portfolio monitoring, write reference memos, and drive diligence workflows with product and engineering.

This role blends deep domain expertise with client-facing responsibilities in a fast-moving AI platform environment. You will defend investment committee materials and ensure analytical soundness, with emphasis

Qualifications

• 6+ years in private equity, private credit, growth equity, or institutional investment environments.
• Experience preparing and defending investment committee materials, including memo authorship and valuation.
• Working with data rooms, diligence trackers, peer benchmarking, decision frameworks, and portfolio reporting packs.
• Strong investment judgment and analytical scepticism; distinguish evidence from noise.
• Explain investment reasoning to engineers, AI practitioners, designers, commercial teams, and client executives.
• Track record of influencing decisions through evidence and persuasion in cross-functional settings.
• Comfort in early-stage product environments with evolving processes and direct communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define how (in)Alpha modules should behave against real investment practice.
• Author and maintain reference artefacts guiding product development and diligence.
• Refine backlog with product and engineering; resolve practitioner questions before building features.
• Test features against governance, processes, and committee dynamics; identify workflow gaps.
• Review AI-generated memos, summaries, and metrics for analytical soundness.
