Job summary

Bateel International in Dubai, UAE seeks an Inventory Coordinator to manage all inventory control activities and achieve 99% stock accuracy.

You will post daily transactions (GRN, GRV, transfer orders, sales invoices), coordinate with purchasing to prevent stockouts, supervise perishable stock, and work with IT to optimize the WMS.

This role requires an undergraduate degree, English proficiency, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree is required.

• Knowledge of ERP or WMS systems and Navision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on time posting for cafes, boutique, production; highlight pending items to concerned departments.
• Ensure all day-to-day transactions (GRN, GRV, transfer orders, sales invoices) are closed/posted.
• Maintain real-time records of perishable products to minimise expiry and stockouts.
• Monitor and provide customer service support for efficient communication with customers.
• Follow-up pending GRN and submit purchase invoices to finance within deadlines.
• Coordinate with purchasing for goods ordered and address OOS or short shelf-life needs.
• Communicate with IT to avoid delays in warehouse operations and support system enhancements.
• Update and reconcile the Reserved location with physical inventory and delivery notes weekly.

Inventory Coordinator - Dubai, UAE

Reports to: Manager - Warehouse

Job Purpose:

To manage all inventory control related activities and achieving stock accuracy of 99% and execute inventory control measures to ensure maximum stock accuracy.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure on time posting for cafes, boutique, production if anything pending should be highlighted with concern departments
• To ensure all day to day transactions, GRN, GRV, transfer orders and sales Invoices should be closed/posted
• Supervise and maintain real-time record of all perishable products and to minimise product expiry and stock out
• Monitor and provide customer service support for efficient communication with customers
• To follow-up for Pending GRN and submit all the purchase invoice to finance department within time frame
• Manage all product related correspondence with centralized purchase for new purchase
• Coordinate with purchasing department to obtain goods ordered if any OOS (specially short shelf life / perishable etc) or else day to day orders
• Strong communication with IT team for any system related issues to avoid the delay in warehouse operations
• Monitoring and updating the ‘Reserved’ location to match with physical inventory and to reconcile with delivery notes
• Reconciliation of physical dispatch vs delivery notes on weekly basis (specially Samples and Gifts)
• Should have strong knowledge of system (WMS) and can be part of system enhancement
• Monitor monthly inventory and cycle counting process and ensure 100% inventory accuracy
• Monitor efficient shipment of materials to customers, perform reservation as per planning team and business head’s needs

Health and safety

• Assure safe working environment and immediately fix any violation to safety regulations
• Ensure compliance of all Quality, Safety requirements as per legal requirements & company policy.
• Responsible for the safety of all team members, reporting all incidents and accidents immediately to line managers.
