Job summary

GAC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee daily stock operations, update databases, and ensure accurate records.

The role requires 2–3 years in inventory control or warehousing, experience with WMS, strong Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and ability to conduct cycle counts and reconciliations; SQL or BI skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in inventory control, stock control or warehousing logistics.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Advanced Excel skills for variance reporting; SQL or BI tools are a plus.

• Overseeing daily operations, ensuring a clean and organized work environment, and managing office equipment.

Job Requirements

• 2 - 3 years in dedicated inventory control, stock control, or warehousing logistics.
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Demonstrated history leading daily/weekly cycle counts, perpetual inventory audits, and full annual physical stock counts with reconciliation.
• Experience identifying, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies, shrinkage, damages, and location misallocations using root-cause techniques
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query) for inventory variance reporting; basic SQL or Power BI/Tableau is a strong advantage.
