Internship, Account Receivable (6 months)

Apply now for the position of Internship, Account Receivable (6 months). This will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Your role

• Allocation of all types of Payments / Customer invoices to general ledgers.
• Prepare clearing vouchers to record receipts from Customer.
• Coordination with GBS Team for timely clearing of invoices vs payments.
• Prepare monthly reports for unclear / unallocated cash with proper aging.
• Coordinate with Commercial team to resolve discrepancies in invoices.
• Sending balance confirmation / Statement of Accounts to Customers / BPs.
• Reconciliation over the statement of accounts to ensure that all customers are timely receiving the balance confirmations.

Your expertise

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in finance / accounting or equivalent, double major is a plus.
• Any prior experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
• Open to varying schedules, with the availability to manage different tasks as needed, and able to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (PowerPoint, Word).
• Affinity for data analytics; SAP experience is an advantage.
• English (Full proficiency); Arabic is preferred.
