Job summary

Sentor Electrical is seeking an experienced internal salesperson to work from our Dubai office. The role requires a proven sales track record, deep knowledge of electrical products, and strong relationships with UAE MEP contractors and consultants.

You will support external sales, handle quotes and inquiries, and drive cross-selling with existing accounts, delivering exceptional customer service daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar internal sales or technical sales role in a large electrical distributor.
• Experience collaborating with external sales teams to prepare quotes and provide product information.
• Established relationships with large UAE MEP contractors, consultants, main contractors and clients.
• Track record of working with quality branded electrical products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external sales team, providing quotes, product information and specifications.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Respond to customer inquiries, quotes and orders promptly with accuracy.
• Provide technical product guidance to customers regarding selection, application and usage.

The Role

A vacancy has now arisen for a highly experienced internal salesperson to work from our office in the Dubai.

The person will be a seasoned sales professional and have worked within a large electrical distributor based in the Dubai. A proven track record of at least 5 years within this role or within a technical sales role is essential. This is a very demanding role working directly with MEP contractors.

Skills & Experience

• Collaborate with the external sales team, providing them with necessary sales support, including preparing quotes, product information, and specifications.
• You must have excellent relationships with large MEP contractors, consultants, main contractors and end clients across the UAE.
• Proven track record of working with quality branded products.
• Postgraduate electrical engineering qualification would be an advantage.
• Excellent commercial and number acumen.
• Exemplary communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Respond to customer inquiries, quotes, and orders promptly and accurately, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and requirements to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Provide technical product expertise, offering guidance and recommendations to customers regarding the selection, application, and usage of electrical products.
