Jumeirah Mina Al Salam in Dubai is offering an Intern – Pastry position. You will assist pastry chefs, prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and maintain mise en place to support daily production and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepared and measured ingredients for pastries, desserts, creams, sauces, and baked goods according to recipes and established standards.
• Followed recipes, production sheets, and plating guidelines accurately to maintain high-quality and consistent pastry standards.
• Maintained pastry stations by organizing ingredients, preparing mise en place, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of products.
• Supported pastry chefs during daily production and service, including decorating, plating, replenishing displays, and preparing items for the next shift.
• Maintained high standards of hygiene, food safety, cleanliness, and organization while continuously developing pastry techniques and product knowledge.
