About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commis 1 - Bakery to join Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Maintain bakery products, report faults, and ensure quality standards are met
• Follow recipes and specifications for portion size, quantity, and consistency as directed by the Bakery Chef de Partie
• Comply with HACCP, COSHH, and Jumeirah standards to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
• Attend company and senior-led training sessions and maintain good relations with colleagues
• Monitor food costs, check information boards for updates, and ensure proper handover between shifts
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• At least three years of experience in a five star international chain hotel
• Food Safety certified
• Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs training courses for at least one year
• Have good spoken and written English
