Job summary

Jumeirah Mina Al Salam is seeking an Intern – Learning and Development to support the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs across the resort. You will assist in maintaining the annual training plan, Welcome Program, and bespoke sessions, while gaining exposure to cross-functional L&D projects.

The ideal candidate is a college graduate with a post-secondary certificate, fluent in English, and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience delivering frontline training programmes for operational staff.
• College graduate with post-secondary certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate training activities.
• Support the L&D Manager in achieving training targets and cross-training initiatives.
• Manage L&D resources, systems, training rooms, supplies and administrative requirements.
• Develop departmental trainers through regular meetings and coaching.
• Design and deliver FLASH Training sessions and act as an L&D partner.
• Track and analyse NPS scores and prepare monthly training reports.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intern – Learning and Development tojoin Jumeirah Mina Al Salam

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate training activities, including the annual training plan, calendar, Welcome Program, and bespoke training.
• Support the L&D Manager in achieving Group and Business Unit training targets, managing cross-training initiatives and tracking progress.
• Manage L&D resources, systems, training rooms, supplies, communication materials, and departmental administrative requirements.
• Manage and develop departmental trainers through regular meetings, observations, tracking, and training spot checks to ensure quality and consistency.
• Design and deliver FLASH Training sessions and act as an L&D business partner, providing effective training support across Resort departments.
• Track and analyse NPS scores, prepare monthly training reports, support L&D projects, and represent the Training Team at internal and external meetings when required.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• College graduate, preferably with a post-secondary certificate; a valid Train-the-Trainer qualification or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience delivering frontline training programmes for operational colleagues.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of the local language, such as Arabic in the UAE, is an advantage.
