Job summary

Juma Al Majid Holding Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking an Estimator Joinery/Fitout to prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for interior fit-out and turnkey projects. You will review tender documents, perform quantity take-offs, and coordinate with suppliers while ensuring compliance with client requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4–7 years of UAE/GCC experience in interior fit-out, joinery, and refurbishment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related field.
• 4–7 years' UAE/GCC interior fit-out estimating experience.
• Turnkey interior fit-out and joinery experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs for interior fit-out, joinery, finishing, and MEP works.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender pricing for commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office fit-out projects.
• Prepare BOQs and cost breakdowns based on project scope.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, evaluate offers, and negotiate pricing.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, technical, and project teams during the tender stage.
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and tender clarification meetings.
• Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, bid documents, and supporting schedules.
