Job summary

Interifix Technical Services is seeking a Design Drafting Support professional in Dubai to develop detailed 2D floor plans, elevations and joinery drawings using AutoCAD, and to assist in creating integrated 3D renders that meet client specifications.

You will source materials, conduct site measurements, prepare presentations, and coordinate with estimation and site teams to ensure design intent is implemented accurately on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting for interior design projects with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate client requirements into drawings and renders.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D floor plans, elevations and joinery details using AutoCAD.
• Assist in producing 3D renders that align with client requirements.
• Source and sample materials such as flooring, finishes and wall coverings under guidance.
• Visit project sites to take measurements and document conditions.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards and layout options for clients.
• Coordinate with backend estimation to align BOQs with 3D concepts.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and carpenters to ensure on-field accuracy.
• Organize and maintain all design files and client-approved drawings.

Job description

Design Drafting Support

• Create detailed 2D floor plans elevations section drawings and joinery details using AutoCAD Assist in producing 3D renders that align with client requirements

Material Selection

• Sourcing Research source and sample appropriate materials such as flooring options like SPC LVT paint finishes fabrics and wall coverings under the guidance of senior team members

Site Surveys

• Visit project sites to conduct accurate physical measurements document existing site conditions and note any MEP or structural restrictions

Client Presentations

• Prepare design presentations mood boards and technical layout options for virtual calls or face-to-face client meetings at the office

Estimation

• BOQ Coordination Coordinate with the backend estimation team to match finalized 3D concepts with detailed Bills of Quantities BOQs to help prepare final quotations

Site Coordination

• Coordinate directly with site supervisors carpenters and painters to ensure that design intents material selections and measurements are executed accurately on the field

Documentation Management

• Organize and maintain all design files revised revisions material catalogs and client-approved drawings to keep project records updated
