Job summary

INTEXT INTERIOR DESIGN L.L.C is seeking a skilled interior designer to develop precise 2D/3D drawings for residential and commercial projects in the UAE. You will create floor plans, elevations and detailed joinery drawings, and produce high-quality 3D models and renders that reflect the approved design concept.

You will coordinate with site teams, project managers and joinery production to ensure accurate measurements, revisions and timely delivery of shop and production drawings, while

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years UAE experience in interior design, fit-out, renovation, or joinery.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drawings and detailed technical drawings.
• Knowledge of 3ds Max, SketchUp or similar 3D modeling software.
• Experience with rendering tools: V-Ray, Corona, Lumion, Enscape, or similar.
• Understanding of interior fit-out and renovation works.
• Experience designing kitchens, wardrobes, joinery, bedrooms, living areas, offices.
• Ability to work from site measurements and existing-condition drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery construction, furniture, lighting & space planning.
• Ability to prepare production/shop drawings for joinery and interior fit-out teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good communication and coordination.
• UAE experience preferred/required; knowledge of UAE construction practices is a plus.
• A strong portfolio of 2D drawings and 3D interior projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D interior drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Develop floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections and details.
• Create high-quality 3D models and renders according to the design concept.
• Prepare detailed drawings for kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, vanities, wall panels and ceilings.
• Coordinate drawings with site team, project manager, production team and joinery factory.
• Review site measurements and revise drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Prepare shop and production drawings for joinery and interior fit-out works.
• Select and present suitable materials, finishes, colors, furniture, lighting and accessories.
• Coordinate with MEP and other technical drawings to avoid conflicts.
• Visit project sites for site measurements and inspections when required.
• Maintain drawing files, revisions and project documentation.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients to understand design requirements and preferences.
