Job summary

Damac Properties in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Manager - Insurance to lead and optimize the group’s insurance strategy across UAE, OpCo and international units. This role requires deep knowledge of risk management, property and casualty coverages, and strong industry relationships.

You will develop programs, negotiate with brokers, oversee claims, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with finance, legal, and operations to secure comprehensive coverage for asset-heavy holdings,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications CPCU, ARM, or CIC demonstrate advanced risk knowledge.
Minimum 10 years in insurance management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Extensive industry relations and experience in asset-heavy industries.
Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive insurance programs to protect assets.
Negotiate terms and premiums with brokers, carriers, and underwriters.
Conduct risk assessments for existing operations and new projects.
Oversee the claims process and liaison with carriers and adjusters.
Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare reports for senior leadership.
