Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance management, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description

The Manager - Insurance will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s insurance strategy, policies, and programs across all jurisdictions. This role requires extensive industry relations, experience in asset-heavy industries, and preferably previous experience in the data center industry. The position will act as the central coordinator for the UAE, OpCo, and International business.

Key Responsibilities:

Insurance Program Management:

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive insurance programs to protect the organization’s assets and mitigate risks.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate coverage options, including property, liability, business interruption, and specialty insurance.

Industry Relations:

• Leverage existing industry relationships to negotiate favorable terms and premiums with brokers, carriers, and underwriters.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to ensure alignment with best practices.

Risk Assessment and Analysis:

• Conduct risk assessments for existing and new operations, projects, and assets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Claims Management:

• Oversee the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate filing, negotiation, and resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance carriers and adjusters.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual insurance requirements.
• Prepare and present reports on insurance coverage, claims, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure comprehensive insurance coverage and risk management.

Specific Qualifications/Certifications:

• Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance management, with at least 5 years in a management role.
