Job summary

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital Dubai in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Insurance Operations Manager to oversee the hospital's insurance function, ensuring efficiency and risk mitigation.

You will lead the insurance team, supervise daily operations, ensure compliance with payer audits, and train Front Office and hospital staff to strengthen knowledge transfer and risk controls. You will collaborate with finance, coding and clinical teams to optimize revenue cycle and minimize denials.

Qualifications

• Formal clinical or coding qualification.
• MBBS or Physiotherapy qualification is desired.
• At least 2–3 years insurance experience in a hospital insurance or TPAs setting.
• At least 2 years experience in managing/supervising a team.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To manage the operations of the insurance function at hospital level in an effective and efficient manner to prevent and mitigate financial risks for the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Managing the insurance team at business unit level

Daily operational management of the insurance function

Manage and monitor all processes including compliance with payer audits

Provide relevant training to Front Office and other hospital employees to ensure relevant knowledge transfer is sufficient to prevent potential financial risks for the company

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A formal clinical or coding qualification

MBBS or Physiotherapy qualification is desired

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2-3 years insurance experience in a hospital insurance or TPAs setting

At least 2 years experience in managing/supervising a team

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Client service and related management principles
• ICD-10CM CPT HCPCS CDT DSL
• Knowledge of Funders and related processes and rules
