Job summary

Transguard Workforce Solutions in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced Material Specialist - Instrumentation to support inventory optimization, material master data management, and warehouse activities within the oil & gas sector.

You will analyze inventory, improve data quality, standardize material classifications, and collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to confirm spare part requirements and ensure accurate records across systems, including SAP

Qualifications

Experience in inventory optimization and stock rationalization.
Proven ability to manage and improve material master data.
Hands-on involvement with warehouse operations and materials management.

Responsibilities

Analyze inventory and materials to identify obsolete, excess, slow-moving items.
Classify and standardize materials per industry standards and taxonomy.
Cleanse, validate, enrich, and standardize Material Master data to improve quality.
Support Min-Max optimization strategies based on asset criticality and requirements.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to validate specs and spare needs.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records across systems.
Support SAP Material Master updates and data migration activities.
Generate reports/dashboards to aid inventory decisions and continuous improvement.
