Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Material Engineer to join our infrastructure projects team in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. You will ensure all construction materials meet project specifications, municipal standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires coordination with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure timely material approvals and ensure on-site quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Material Engineer on infrastructure projects in UAE.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi/Al Ain Municipality material approvals and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and approve construction materials for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and submit material approvals, technical submittals, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on material specifications.
• Monitor material testing activities to ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality standards.
• Maintain records of material approvals, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Support project teams in resolving material-related technical issues.
