Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks a senior member for its Investment and Transaction Advisory practice. You will support project preparation, business case development, and commercial structuring for major infrastructure programs across social, transport, energy, and water sectors.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, engage with government and private stakeholders, and oversee financial oversight and due diligence to help clients reach commercial and financial close.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in accounting and finance, economics, engineering, management, policy or a related field.
• MBA and/or CFA or similar qualification preferred.
• Infrastructure advisory experience with a minimum of 8 years.
• Experience in Investment & Transaction Advisory services (PPP/JV or Infrastructure M&A).
• Experience across multiple subsectors and regions.
• Track record of leading projects to commercial/financial close.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to practice strategy, service line development and go-to-market.
• Engage with government bodies, regulators, and private-sector stakeholders to develop pipeline and opportunities pre-procurement.
• Provide advisory support across the full project lifecycle including business case prep and commercial structuring.
• Coordinate pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, value-for-money analysis and risk assessment.
• Oversee due diligence and combine with commercial diligence for investment committees.
• Translate engineering depth into board-ready strategic narratives and represent WSP with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Advisory, Property & Building, Transport & Infrastructure, and Project Management Services.
• Manage project economics including WIP, revenue forecasting, invoicing and financial oversight.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure ongoing learning and development.
