Job summary

Financial Audit Authority in Dubai seeks a seasoned Head of Information Security to lead the protection of its digital and information assets. You will oversee strategy, governance and operations to assure confidentiality, integrity, and availability across all information systems while aligning with laws, regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in information security is mandatory, including demonstrated experience in leading information security teams or programmes.
• Proven expertise in information security governance, risk management, incident response, and cybersecurity compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of FAA’s information security strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of information security policies, procedures, and standards in line with ISR, ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST.
• Direct security risk assessments and audits, oversee risk treatment plans, and report significant risks to senior management.
• Lead the response to information security incidents and breaches, including investigation, containment, recovery, and post-incident reviews.
• Lead information security awareness and training programmes across the Authority.
• Present security reports to senior management, covering risks, incidents, compliance status, and recommendations.
