MediaSource FZC seeks a competent Information Management & Document Control Lead in Abu Dhabi to govern project data, safeguard records, and enable secure access for teams across projects.
You will define standards, manage CDE platforms, ensure compliance, and drive BIM-enabled delivery with cross-functional collaboration and strong leadership.
To lead and manage the effective governance, control, storage, distribution, and accessibility of project and organizational information, ensuring accurate, secure, and timely information management throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop, implement, and maintain information management strategies, policies, procedures, and standards across projects.
Establish and manage information management systems and Common Data Environments (CDE) to support effective project delivery.
Ensure project documentation, drawings, models, correspondence, and records are appropriately classified, controlled, stored, distributed, and archived.
Define information management requirements, workflows, naming conventions, document structures, and approval processes.
Ensure information received from consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders complies with established project standards and requirements.
Coordinate with Project, Technical, Design, Commercial, Procurement, and other teams to ensure timely availability and exchange of accurate project information.
Oversee document control activities and ensure effective version control, revision management, and traceability of project documentation.
Monitor information management performance and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Manage user access, permissions, and information security requirements within project information systems.
Support BIM and digital delivery processes by ensuring effective management and integration of project information and data.
Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with information management procedures and standards.
Develop and monitor information management KPIs and provide regular reports to project and senior management.
Provide guidance and training to project teams, consultants, and contractors on information management systems, procedures, and requirements.
Ensure appropriate retention, archiving, handover, and close-out of project information upon project completion.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of digital tools and technologies used for project information management.
Lead and manage the Information Management and Document Control team, ensuring clear responsibilities and effective performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Professional certification in Information Management, BIM, Document Control, or Project Management would be an advantage.
Strong experience in information and document management within construction, real estate development, infrastructure, or major project environments.
Experience managing Common Data Environment platforms and electronic document management systems.
Good understanding of BIM processes, digital project delivery, document control, and information governance.
Knowledge of relevant information management standards, including ISO 19650, would be preferred.
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders.
