Job summary

LINK is a fast-growing Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) that applies human-centered design to support strategy, innovation, communication, change, and branding for the federal government and partners.

We are seeking a Senior Design Leader to drive strategic design direction, mentor teams, and ensure brand-safe delivery across engagements. You will shape information architectures and guide design thinking from concept to final execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design-related field.
• 10+ years of experience in design consulting leading teams.
• Deep understanding of human-centered design and design thinking processes.
• Experience designing intelligible information hierarchies and frameworks.
• Strong portfolio with end-to-end design work from concept to execution.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide strategic guidance in complex engagements.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic design direction across projects.
• Serve as primary design contact for project teams and leadership forums.
• Drive visual brand expression, consistency, and standards across identity and design systems.
• Mentor and guide the design process and client engagement.
• Oversee design execution across contracts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support onboarding and development of new information designers and design strategists.
