Job summary

NALCO An Ecolab Company seeks a technical consultant to deliver expert advice on water treatment chemistries and digital solutions, supporting sales teams to improve customer operations. The role involves on-site audits, technical reporting, and collaboration with marketing and R&D to drive new programs.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong English skills, and readiness to travel internationally. Arabic speakers are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical engineering or science or biotechnology, or related fields as listed.
• Strong background in water treatment chemistries and applications; knowledge of water/wastewater plant operation and recycle systems.
• Experience with water automation, digital solutions, and managed operations.
• Familiarity with microbiology, environmental chemistry, and local regulations; troubleshooting of water and wastewater plants.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; fluent in English; Arabic speakers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting leveraging Nalco Water IP to assist sales in increasing account revenue and profitability.
• Audit and assess customer operations to determine where Nalco chemical applications and digital technology can improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
• Conduct on-site audits with summary technical reports and present findings during customer review meetings.
• Deliver on-the-job product and sales training; identify needed training and reference materials for field sales programs.
• Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and sales to identify new products, applications and innovations; support commercialization and post-launch sales activities.
