Job summary

Ecolab, Inc. is seeking a technically skilled consultant for Nalco Water to support sales through expert advice, audits, and value-driven service. The role involves collaboration with sales, marketing, and R&D to identify improvements and promote digital solutions across water and process applications.

The candidate will conduct on-site audits, prepare technical reports, and contribute to training and materials used by field staff. Frequent travel—domestic and international—will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering or science or biotechnology.
• Strong background in water treatment chemistries and applications.
• Knowledge of water, wastewater plant operation and recycle systems.
• Knowledge of water automation, digital solutions, and managed operations.
• Knowledge in microbiology and environmental chemistry and local regulations.
• Experience in troubleshooting water and wastewater plants.
• Fluency in English is a must; Arabic language preferred.
• Role requires frequent domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting services leveraging Nalco Water’s intellectual property to assist sales and increase account revenue and profitability.
• Audit and assess customer operations with sales team to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct on-site audits for Water & Process applications and present findings with value documentation.
• Provide on-the-job product and sales training and support field training materials.
• Collaborate with Marketing, RDE and Sales to identify new products and program applications.
• Support development and commercialization of new programs with PLM, SBUs, sales and marketing management.
