Job summary

Tapping Right in Dubai seeks a motivated Sales Engineer to drive growth in industrial automation and instrumentation. You will identify opportunities, promote gauges, valves, flanges, fittings, and high-pressure systems, and build long-term relationships with OEMs, EPCs, consultants, distributors, and end customers.

The role requires a technical sales background, strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel within the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical/instrumentation/electrical/electronics or industrial engineering.
• Experience in technical sales in industrial automation, instrumentation, valves, gauges, or related products.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes and instrumentation applications.
• Knowledge of pressure gauges, valves, flanges, and high‑pressure fittings is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial sectors.
• Promote and sell instrumentation and automation products including gauges, valves, flanges, and fittings.
• Generate leads and build relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors and end customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend technical products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations and techno-commercial proposals and product presentations.
• Coordinate with technical and internal sales teams for pricing and order execution.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Follow up on enquiries and opportunities to convert to sales.
• Maintain relationships with key decision-makers and project engineers.
• Monitor market trends and new project opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to growth.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales pipeline.
• Coordinate with customers regarding order status and delivery.
