Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Reception Manager – IndoPersian Restaurant to join the resort's Food & Beverage team. You will manage pre-arrival guest communication, reservations, and VIP arrangements, ensuring a warm, personalized arrival aligned with Forbes standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in reception management, fluency in English, and preferred experience with Forbes Travel Guide and SevenRooms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of front-of-house or reception management experience.
• Fluency in English; additional language highly valued.
• Experience with Forbes Travel Guide standards and SevenRooms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage pre-arrival guest communication, reservations, preferences, special requests, and VIP arrangements.
• Review guest profiles and histories to anticipate individual needs and deliver personalized service.
• Coordinate special occasions and VIP experiences with management, culinary, and service teams.
• Deliver a warm, polished, and personalized arrival experience aligned with Wynn and Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Recognize and manage VIP, repeat, and high-profile guests, ensuring seamless handover to the service team.
• Oversee reservations, waitlists, walk-ins, and queue management through systems such as SevenRooms.
• Collaborate with floor and culinary teams to optimize seating flow, occupancy, and guest waiting times.
• Lead, schedule, coach, and develop the reception team in guest engagement, conflict resolution, system proficiency, and Forbes service standards.
• Conduct daily briefings on reservations, VIPs, special requests, and service pacing while reinforcing anticipatory, guest-centric service.
• Capture guest preferences and feedback, support service recovery and post-visit follow-up, and use insights to continuously improve the guest experience.
